Jasmin Taylor

Jasmin Taylor, née Williams, is an anointed multidisciplinary artist, storyteller and problem solver. She is a native Chicagoan who has trained, worked and lived through the U.S., Israel and Western Europe. Jasmin has studied under Dance Theater of Harlem, Dance Italia, and Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company. She has performed at the Harris Theater, the Goodman Theater, the Museum of Contemporary Art, in the Netflix series “Soundtrack”; and in Memoria with the Alvin Ailey Company. As a choreographer, dancer, and producer she has had the pleasure of working with TEDxStanford, Links Hall, Jamila Woods, Smino Brown, James Alsop; and Grammy-Award-winning artists Cashmere Cat and ChancetheRapper. Her choreographic work has been featured in VICE, Rolling Stone, Complex Magazine, The Chicago Tribune, Sun-Times, and more. Taylor is currently co-producing the ‘Inside the Studio’ series for Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, with Motion/Pictures Dance Project, and is a 2022 Art on theMART’s ‘Year of Dance’ commissioned artist. All of Jasmin’s work encourages true vulnerability and interdependence; she works to promote respect, love, and unity within diversity in all communities.
